Barack Obama is moving “key elements” of the National Democratic Committee to Chicago.

Some Party Officials are concerned that the DNC will be serving the Nominee alone…well, anybody who has worked on a campaign at any level knows that it’s a fact- the Party- be it for National, State or County throws it behind their endorsed candidate(s) in a big way.

To show concern for something that is considered SOP is just whining and is an obvious attempt to get people who aren’t aware of this practice worked up.

All I can say to the ‘concerned’ DNC people is…

deal with it.

No Such Tape Exists

You’d think by now that after all these Reality Shows on TV that deal with Intervention and Rehab that people would

have learned

by now that  you can’t trust

what a drug addict says.

 

Drug Addicts like…oh  I don’t know …. like Rush Limbaugh-

you know for instance.

 

Limbaugh started this story and people up and forgot that maybe Rush doesn’t always have

the strongest hold on reality so the story grew some legs:

LIE:Proven GOP sleazemeister Roger Stone says he has “credible evidence that some indelible record exists” of a tape of Michelle Obama using the term “whitey.”

LIE: Blogger: “Tape was filmed between June 26th - July 1st 2004 in Chicago, IL at the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition Conference at Trinity United Church: specifically the Women’s Event.”

It’s a Red State Update!

Today I was patient.

Today I was kind and understanding.

Well.

To a point.

Today a Hillary Fan gave me three reasons why she’s voting for McCain and in closing she said, ” And I think you should know is my biggest problem was you Obama people were just vicious to us. “

All I could think to say was,

” And I think you should know, Governement Cheese Sucks. I’m only saying that because if things work the way you want them to there’s going to be a lot of it in your future. Well, if you’re lucky. Oh. It doesn’t melt. “

Unity…where art thou?

Back in 2004 I was a Howard Dean Supporter.

On the night our state went to Kerry the Steering Committee for Dean that my husband worked had a short meeting- in a restaurant in Pioneer Square and those of us there were told,

” We’re Kerry People now. “

It was that simple - it sounded and felt cold blooded but nobody for a second even entertained the thought of supporting George Bush out of spite.

The next day the Howard Dean headquarters went through the process of shutting down and all of us tried- with various degrees of enthusiasm- to begin the work of supporting John Kerry for President.

So how do I feel about what went on this weekend… Hillary’s Endorsement Speech, the vile and racist chat going on the blogs about Obama and his supporters ( of which I’m willing to bet aren’t ALL coming from Clinton Supporters, let alone Democrats ) the obvious care and respect by the DNC and Obama that are being shown to Clinton and her Supporters.

I feel that I’m trying very hard to not say that a Group of People are being shown Preferenatial Treatment.

That’s not what is going on here…

Is it?

PLUS I went off on the news I heard about the price of Gas going up to 5.00 a gallon by the 4th of July …the title of that story is:
